1.Image effect
There are burrs around the edge from punching. Heavy burrs will affect edge detection during measurement.
The figure below shows the condition inside the holes.
The hole on the left has substantial punching residues inside, which prevents the laser from measuring the depth.
The hole on the right is normal. Minor punching residues will not interfere with laser depth measurement.

Recommended machine configuration: AC300 auto measuring machine upgraded with 200W camera + 0.7–4.5X lens barrel, 0.5mm diameter laser
(Machine size and coaxial light can be selected according to actual requirements)
Risks: No major issues for overall product measurement. Attention should be paid to edge burrs and internal cleanliness of holes.
A fixture is required to flatten the workpiece for lateral dimension measurement.
